West Virginia Bikers publishes routes as a guide, not a guarantee. Roads change, conditions change, and GPX data can be wrong — check the weather, judge the surface for yourself, and ride your own ride. Road conditions, closures, traffic and wildlife are yours to assess on the day. Riding a motorcycle carries inherent risk. We do not verify or warrant the accuracy of any route, map or GPX file, and you ride at your own risk.
There's a reason riders keep coming back to the Summersville area. Within a 60-mile radius, you have some of the most dramatic roads in the eastern United States, a National Park, two state parks, a waterfall you can walk to in your gear, and a river descent that will be the first thing you talk about when you get home.
This loop starts and ends at the Summersville Lake Dam Overlook, one of the most underrated views in West Virginia, and works its way through the New River Gorge country before looping back through Babcock State Park.
