The 5th Annual West Virginia Gold Star Mothers Bridge Ride honors West Virginia's 69 Post-9/11 fallen heroes and their families. The parade begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Summersville Arena & Conference Center, departing at 10:00 AM. The motorcade travels through downtown Summersville, proceeds south on Route 19, crosses the New River Gorge Bridge, enters downtown Fayetteville, travels along Maple Avenue to Laurel Creek Road, and re-enters Route 19 North for a second crossing of the New River Gorge Bridge before concluding with a solemn ceremony at The Tractor Bar. Registration is $30 per rider and includes an official event T-shirt and gift bag. Early registration is strongly encouraged and can be completed online at BridgeRide.org. Additional registration opportunities are available Friday, October 9, 6:00–8:00 PM at Quality Inn Summersville, and Saturday morning, October 10, 7:00–9:30 AM at Summersville Arena & Conference Center. Community members are invited to line the parade route in Summersville, Fayetteville, and along Route 19 with flags and patriotic displays. Donations of $1 or more are accepted at BridgeRide.org.
